The thermometer has a min/max reading memory that will help you validate that your dishwasher operates in compliance with FDA regulation 4-501-111/2 and has safely sanitized your dishes and cooking utensils for use. The new plastic protective heat shield is made from flexible and temperature-stable plastic material, and is colored red for easy identification and location inside or outside dishwashers. The shield protects the Waterproof Lollipop Probe Digital Thermometer’s LCD display from overheating and turning black when the thermometer is used in consecutive dishwashing cycles.
