A. Yes. You can also set an initial start up alarm delay as well as continuous alarm delays. For example, if a temperature exceeds alarm limits during transit, you can delay activation of the alarm for a programmed period of time, so that short door openings or short temperature spikes don't trigger the alarm.

A. Part numbers are assigned for each custom programmed data logger. The part number is unique for each customer. The customer approves and signs the specified custom program requirements with part number. The part number is added to the factory program database.

A. On average, the In-Transit model can be reused at least two times, even though the In-Transit model is for one trip only. In-Transit data is archived when the product is returned to DeltaTRAK or downloaded into our Web-hosted data information file. The battery is replaced, calibration re-checked, and a new trip number and model parameter are re-programmed. DeltaTRAK also offers reusable data logger models with no limit on number of times used.

|
A. The In-Transit model is packaged in a patented, 5" x 4" high visibility, yellow and blue utility package. In addition, based on client requirements, a high visibility box label can be provided to highlight the location of the data logger if it is placed inside a box.

A. A patented "Shadow Log" feature guarantees data recording even if the shipper forgets to manually activate the data logger. Patented direct memory access via standard parallel port communication at the rate of 3800 logged data points in 5 seconds. Can download anywhere worldwide with free software from the DeltaTRAK Web site and a standard printer cable, without the need of a special interface module. Also, data can be downloaded to a Web-hosted site, or downloaded directly into a graphic or text custom printer.

|
A. PC download for an electronic file with 3800 data points is typically 5 seconds. A printer is available that downloads the data logger without the need for a PC in about 60-70 seconds.

A. The data logger has a unique trip serial number on the duplicate shipping document, which is filled out by the shipper. It also has a bar code serial number on the unit, which is noted onto the shipping manifest. The carrier must take legal responsibility to deliver the load and data logger listed on the manifest.

A. For standard In-Transit FlashLink data logger Model 20010 series, the failure rate has been .02% as verified by our technical service and QC departments. The only instance of known failure is when physical damage occurred (for example, a data logger was run over by a forklift), but we were still able to extract the trip data from the microprocessor.
