DeltaTRAK Cold Chain Monitoring Time Temperature Indicators: TempDot Plus
TempDot Plus indicator labels are used to monitor shipments of temperature sensitive perishables as they travel through the cold chain. These low-cost single-use indicators will detect ascending temperature excursions that impact the quality of temperature sensitive foods such as produce, seafood and meat. The irreversible labels monitor the cumulative amount of time the label is exposed to temperature above its threshold limit. They also feature unique graphics including a positive indication window that verifies that the label has been activated and is in the “On” condition.
TempDot Plus labels can be conveniently placed on outer cartons or secondary shipping boxes to continuously track temperature conditions from the pallet level to a single carton. Shipments can be monitored from the suppliers and manufacturers, through distribution centers and on to the end user. Upon arrival, receivers can use the labels’ temperature abuse information as a tool to make immediate decisions regarding whether to reject or accept the product. TempDot Plus labels provide traceable temperature information on all forms of temperature sensitive products helping our customers meet the requirements of state and federal regulations such as the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), Produce Traceability Initiative (PTI) and the FDA Fish and Fishery Products Hazards and Controls Guidance.The labels are available in multiple temperature ranges with specific thresholds and run out times for food, pharmaceutical and biologics applications.
