DeltaTRAK ThermoTrace TTI Solution Cold Chain Traceability
DeltaTRAK's ThermoTrace Time Temperature Indicator (TTI) cold chain technology is a comprehensive solution that allows manufacturers, processers and receivers of temperature sensitive commodities to cost effectively track cumulative product temperature abuse experienced at the pallet or carton level from origin to consumer. From supplier through warehousing and distribution all the way to the consumer, the ThermoTrace TTI system gives customers the exact data they need to assess product quality and shelf life.
DeltaTRAK's cold chain solution includes the ThermoTrace TTI labels and the ThermoTrace TTI Message Service. The solution provides immediate feedback messages to anyone who scans the TTI label with an industrial barcode reader (Windows CE/WiFi/GSM/CDMA) or consumer based smartphone (iPhone, Android). The application will display pre-defined messages on the screen of the reader or custom messages defined by the message service subscriber. TTI Service customers can also receive email/text alerts.
The alert message is comprised of multiple components including the unique serial number found on each ThermoTrace TTI label. The interactive DeltaTRAK Scanner application allows users to scan or key in additional information which is then tied to that serial number and appears as part of the alert message. The user could input a purchase order number, lot code, their product UPC code or an alpha-numeric message.
The TTI label is a low cost single-use barcode label that supports a variety of accumulated temperature abuse events. Based on a proven (non-toxic) chemical process, it changes the barcode as it tracks up to three levels of cumulative temperature abuse above the threshold temperature stated on the label. This dynamic process is captured in real time with every scan done by a barcode reader.
