  • Changes in relative humidity cause the resistance of the electricallyconducting surface of the water (RH sensor) to vary. The TH2 measures the resistance and converts the reading to a percentage of RH. All RH readings are then temperature compensated by simultaneously taken temperature readings from the RH sensors companion thermistor. External channgels can also be used to measure temperature alone (with an ET thermistor probe), or can be measure resistance.
